Sunday Road Ride. 3rd Sept 9.00am from Queens Gardens. To Wilmslow to watch the Tour of Britain stage. Aim is is to go to Alderley Edge for a coffee and cake and then on to Wilmslow to watch the race. Passses through around 12ish to 12.17. Will take a direct route back so we should be back in Newcastle about 2.30.

Out via Rough Close, Church Leigh, Uttoxeter.

Return via Rocester, Croxden Abbey (photo op!), Hollington, Tean, Blythe Bridge.

Expect a substantial lunch at the Diner.

Out via Eccleshall, Ranton, Gnosall, Cosford. Bank through Haughton and Seigford, Swynnerton. Approx 70 miles. Weather forecast is sunny spells.

Meet at the BOD at Trentham 9.45am

Distance is only 31.6m BOD to BOD,
 some of the route takes us back along the canal tow path. Nice and Steady.
