Just to record the Latest Results
A number of events completed since the previous update.
Sat 6th May 2023 – L1015: 10 mile out and back course, this is perhaps on one of the potentially faster courses if the weather is good.
The start is in a layby at the top of a slight hill which gives just under half a mile of a fast decent, however the down side is that the road surface is poor for the most part of it.
The main course is DC with a 1.5 mile centre section that is single carriageway, this applies to both the outward leg to the RAB turn and the return leg.
RESULT: 24:34 [av speed 25.7mph}
Sat 13th May 2023 – J4/20; Local 10-mile TT – RESULT: 25:19 [av speed 23.8mph]
Sat 20th May 2023 – L1015: re-visit to this course. Decent weather this afternoon – RESULT: 22:32 [av speed 26.7mph]
Sat 3rd June 2023 – Tour of Cambridgeshire, a UCI event held in Peterborough. This is a full weekend of cycling with the Crono [TT] on Saturday and the Road race, Grand Fondo, and sportifs on the Sunday and all competed on mostly closed roads.
The TT is on a Hilly 16.5 mile course on both A and B roads and actually riding through a local village. – RESULT: 43:03 [av speed 22.6mph]
